Which Institutions Can Use PPAPS?
PPAPS Is Built for All Malawian Universities
PPAPS (Past Papers Application System) is not tied to a single institution. It is designed as a multi-institution platform, meaning students from any university or college in Malawi can use it — as long as their institution's papers have been uploaded by authorized administrators.
Currently, PPAPS supports institutions including the University of Malawi (UNIMA), Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS), Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR), and secondary school students preparing for the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examinations.
Universities and Exam Bodies Currently on PPAPS
University of Malawi (UNIMA) — PPAPS includes past papers from multiple UNIMA faculties, organized by department, course, and year.
MUBAS (Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences) — formerly known as the Polytechnic. MUBAS students can find past papers for business, engineering, and applied science programmes.
LUANAR (Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources) — past papers for agricultural science, natural resources, and development studies programmes.
MSCE (Malawi School Certificate of Education) — for secondary school students revising for the national certificate examinations, PPAPS provides past papers organized by subject.
How to Get Your Institution Added to PPAPS
PPAPS is continuously expanding. If your institution is not yet listed, there are two paths to getting it added.
Contact Iconic Tech directly at hello@iconictech.com to express interest. The team will reach out to your institution's administration to set up an admin portal account and begin uploading papers.
If you are a student, you can also request individual papers through the in-app request pipeline. Enough requests from students at an institution typically accelerates the onboarding process.
